Kent Rogert has been heavily involved in Nebraska pollitics since 2005 when he decided to run for legislature.  He served in the Nebraska Unicameral from 2007 until 2010 representing District 16 in northeast Nebraska.  He passed many bills during his term including many that were given priority status by other members of the legislature.  The Lincoln Journal Star did an expose on the Judiciary Committee on which he served and gave him the title of "The Broker" as he had quickly become known as "someone who can get it done."  Broad knowledge of the rules of the legislature and solid understanding of the personalities casting and whipping votes are keys to passing legislation.  Relationship building is and should be a full time job when dealing with people so regularly. 

Outside of his Lincoln, NE office right across the street from the Capitol building, Kent Rogert makes his home in Tekamah, NE where he also owns a real estate brokerage.  In the past, he has worked with farmers selling them seed and fertilizers, has been a corporate sales manager across the midwest, has done insurance work and been a commodities broker.  His broad knowledge of many different industries makes him the right lobbyist for just about any company or association.  "I've been fortunate to work with so many people on so many different projects over the past 20 years!  There is hardly a chapter of statutes that I have not been involved in."
